Wide Angle

Here are a few shots made with my new wide angle lens, which I previously mentioned here. These were all shot over the past few weeks in and around Chicago.

It's a fun lens to work with, I'm enjoying shooting with it. I'm hoping that Spring weather arrives soon (winter is lingering in Chicago this year). I want to do some city night shooting, but not when it's freezing out.

Spring Break!

My Spring break starts today, I have all of next week off. Looking forward to some rest, as well as studio and shooting time, and some other things I want to do. Trying not to overbook, I have a tendency to plan too many things and then do none of them.

One thing I definitely want to do is shoot with my new lens. I bought a super-wide angle lens a couple of weeks ago. It had been on my wish list for several years, and I unexpectedly found it for a couple hundred dollars less than it usually sells for, so I bought it, and to hell with the budget! Haven't had much of a chance to work with it, although I did take it to Chinatown for a few quick shots.
