Google translate tells me that  鳩 (pronounced 'Hato') is Japanese for pigeon. That may or may not be accurate (I don't speak Japanese), but I kind of liked the title.

This is a photo I shot at the Beach Boardwalk amusement park in Santa Cruz, CA last summer. I've been playing with modifying color in non standard ways, this is one of my recent experiments.
